Eduardo Maiorino is rumored to fight Dewey Cooper for the WBC Heavy Weight Title at “Battle in the Desert 5″ which is taking place February 25th, 2012. Eduardo Maiorino is a former three-time Brazilian Heavyweight Muay Thai champion, and was scheduled to fight Terroll Dees at “Battle in the Desert 4,” but the bout was cancelled one hour prior to the event.
I did a little sniffing around and found out from an anonymous source that Terroll Dees was going into convulsions before the bout, and had to be hospitalized. I couldn’t reach Terrol Dees for a comment, but I hope he is in good health & spirits. It will be nice to see a legit Heavyweight Muay Thai Match coming up. Heavy Weight Muay Thai is not often seen over here on the West Coast. Eduardo means business, and is disappointed that his last fight was cancelled. Just look at the pictures, would you mess with this guy? I didn’t think so. Coke Chunhawat is also supposedly going to be fighting Canadian Matt Embree in a rubber match at this event. Keep checking back for more news regarding “Battle in the Desert 5″ taking place at The Joint inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, NV. Oh ya.
